4 Research Create an entry in your journal. Where was it being written? Who was writing this type of literature? When was it being written? What did this type of writing entail? Why were these authors writing this type of literature? How did they most often get their message across? A modernist novel. April 25, 1910: The day T.P. and Benjy drink "sassprilluh." Also Caddy’s wedding. 7. June 2, 1910: Quentin’s suicide 8. 1912: Father’s death. 9. 1915: The day Roskus dies. 10. 1906: The day Caddy gives perfume to Dilsey. 11. 1908 – 1910: Caddy and Charlie in the swing. 12. Spring 1910: A day after Caddy has left. The day Benjy chases the girls. 13. 1900: Benjy’s name change; Quentin fights at school 14. 1908 or 1909: Caddy’s loss of virginity Highlight these 14 sections in your book with different colors so that they contrast with each other? Some will repeat.
