LGE Internal Use Only Test result: Samsung eco bubble [Washing clean] The Samsung WF0804Y8E with Eco Bubble washes clean less than the average washing machine. This is true for the cotton cycle (program) as well as the synthetic cycle at 40ºC with Eco Bubble. However, the washing machine still receives a good score for the cotton cycle and a reasonably good score for the synthetic cycle. [15ºC just as clean as 40ºC?] According to Samsung the machine with the Super Eco cold cycle (at 15ºC) washes just as clean as the cotton cycle at 40ºC without the Eco Bubble. Generally, these cycles wash clean in a similar way, however Samsung does cheat at the 40ºC cotton cycle, since the temperature of the 40ºC cotton cycle only reaches 31ºC. Additionally, the cotton cycle without Eco Bubble is 10 minutes shorter than the Super Eco cycle. Because of this, it is easier to reach the same washing results with a 40ºC cycle as with a cold cycle. The 40ºC cotton cycle with Eco Bubble does reach the temperature of 43ºC though. [Rinsing] The rinse result of the Super Eco Bubble is bad and the rinse result of the cotton cycles at 40ºC is reasonable. There are only 2 rinse cycles and it rinses too short. [Conclusion: Samsung Eco Bubble] “Perfectly clean at 15ºC” is not completely true since the washing machine washes clean less than the cotton cycle with Eco Bubble at 40ºC that gets a good score. At low temperatures laundry without many stains probably will get clean sufficiently but the washing machine does not clean it better, per se, than other machines. It will be sufficiently clean for regular laundry without bad stains. The Super Eco cycle with cold water indeed uses less energy, 0.12kWh for 4kg instead of 0.42kWh for 4kg at 40ºC without Eco Bubble, so about 70% less. The Samsung WF0804Y8E also participated in the ordinary test of the Consumentenbond. See the results here. - The Consumentenbond / Netherland - Consumer Magazine ▌The Consumentenbond in Netherland
