2.  For the show me app I did a problem. To be honest I loved this extra credit assignment because I got to use technology to use math. That’s why I really like IXL because you earn virtual awards like a fake dog and a fake hot dog stand. I brag about all my awards.

3.  -5+7v=6(6v+4)  So first we are going to multiply 6x6v and also 6x4 because the 6 is right to the left of the parenthesis. So then our equation is made to…  -5+7v=36v+24  So then one of the things we can do is subtract 7v from the two numbers with the variables next to them. So that then makes our problem…

4.  -5=29v+24  So then what would or next step be???  That’s right subtract 24 from the two numbers without variables, like -5 and 24. Which gives us… -29=29v  From now on it’s a pretty easy equation. V would be -1 because 29x-1= -29 so your answer is,  V= -1!

5.  Let’s all be honest. Math is my absolute WORST subject and my least favorite as well. Math was easy as pie for me up until 4 th Grade math with Mr. Thomas Seley. I really didn’t like Mr. Seley so having him as a teacher didn’t really motivate me to do a good job. Then 5 th Grade. I liked Mr. Burdick but the math got harder and I was falling behind which I still am right now.

6.  I still despise math but I think I am kind of doing better in math but not really. I need to prepare myself more for things and work harder on them. And also put more effort in and don’t rush through them to get to do other things.
