2.  There are different kinds of plants around us.  They vary in size, shape, colour, smell, place of growth etc.  On the basis of their size and types of stem, plants can be classified into these following categories : - Trees Herbs Shrubs Climbers Creepers

4. TREES Trees are big in size. They have thick, strong and woody stem called Trunks. Examples of trees are:- neem, pine, mango, peepal, banyan, etc.

6. SHRUBS Shrubs are plants of medium height. They are highly branched from the base of the stem itself. Examples of Shrubs are:- rose, hibiscus, jasmine, tulsi, etc.

8. HERBS Herbs are small in size. They are soft, tender and green stems. Examples of herbs are:- grasses, spinach, coriander, mustard etc.
