13 -Rain Garden- Collects runoff from roof and yard, keeping it out of stormwater drainage system. Allows pollutants to be filtered out and decreases localized flooding.

14 Unlike bog or wetland gardens, Rain Gardens hold water for only 1 to 2 days. Compared to a conventional lawn, a Rain Garden can allow 30% more water to soak into the ground. Rain Gardens are also wonderful habitat for wildlife and can be an attractive asset to any property.
