WHO Was Involved? The British Fought against the colonist. Parliament/King Made laws. The colonist Went against the British. Paul Revere/Minutemen Warned the colonist that the British were coming. MAIN MENU

WHY Did It Happen? The battle happened because the Colonist didn't want to listen to the British Laws that the British had for the Colonist. The British were trying to get rid of the Colonist weapons. MAIN MENU

WHAT Happened? The British were coming. Massachusetts was in open rebellion. Joseph Warren and Paul Revere warned the Colonist that the British were coming. Britain's plan British tried to sneak up on the Colonist. The King wanted Boston’s leaders arrested. MAIN MENU

Other Information Lexington and Concord was the first Military Engagement. Colonist got information by spying on the British. The British Arm’s were nicknamed the “Redcoats”. Both sides began preparing for war. Colonist were stunned with there success. MAIN MENU
