1st Continental Congress met at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Members of the Continental Congress revised the rough draft that was written by Thomas Jefferson. (This took a few days)

The Continental Congress officially adopted “The Declaration of Independence.”
It would be August 2, 1776 until it was signed.
