19. Explanation This PPT is actually what I am using this week. We are learning about 5 battles in the American Revolution: Saratoga, Yorktown, Lexington, Bunker Hill and Trenton. For each battle, a student group has prepared a presentation. Additionally, we will be watching a short video clip for each incident, and taking down key ideas using a web. (Students have graphic organizers that they are filling out.) I also have images in here that I am using to teach vocabulary. Students use the words to guess the definitions, and then they copy down the real ones. I teach special ed, so definitions are simplified.
