2. Remote Control Application The product that I am going to design is an application for cell phone. This application could be used instead of any remote control of home entertainment. The users of this application will use their cell phones as a remote control for their multimedia devices. By using this application, users ’ several remote controls will be substituted by their cell phone. Scenario one: adding a TV to the application. Scenario Two: using the application to control the added TV Scenario three: adding a DVD player to the application. Scenario four: using the application to control the added DVD player. The steps that any user needs to take are: Download/ install the application Run the application Insert the device type which need to be control by cell phone (such as: TV, DVD Player, and…) Insert the model of the device Insert the serial number of the device Application will search the device’s code After finding the code, the application will asked the user if he/she wants to save the device Then application will ask the user if she/he wants to add another device After adding all devices, what user needs to do is to choose which device she/he wants to control Start
