5. This is Joe Bloggs. He is in Year 7 and has 90% attendance. ► Is that good? ► What does this mean?

11. We have an attendance display board which is changed every Wednesday to show all the school’s attendance figures. Our target is to get above 95 % attendance At the moment we are at 95.2 % which we need to improve on

12. Rewards! We get different rewards for attendance. Over the half terms we get certificates. If anybody gets 100% attendance for a whole year then they are invited to the school’s Awards Evening and they get free tickets to a Stoke City game! If anybody goes through the whole 5 years at school without a day off then they get a special attendance award.
