Making a difference in the community since 1988 Mak Making a difference since 1988 Registered Charity No. 1086485 The Beginning Established in 1988 as Patchway and Bradley Stoke Community Development Project Joint initiative between the first residents of Bradley Stoke and the established Town Council in Patchway A grant through the Rural Community Council for one full time community development worker Tiny office in the store room of Patchway Library

The Journey New member of staff Worked with the Trustees to identify priorities Recognised opportunities for service delivery to meet the growing unmet needs in the community At the peak turnover of £850,000 and around 40 staff Last year £650k and 25 staff

In 2013 we updated our values We all have the right to a future that enables us to reach our potential Everyone has the right to be fully involved in society and in decisions that affect them With rights come responsibilities Discrimination always needs to be challenged Different people and cultures are able to appreciate each other and live together harmoniously We all need to be involved in protecting our environment for future generations We all learn and develop through our life experiences Through working and learning together we can make the best use of limited resources
