4. Queen Elizabeth II was born on the 21 st April 1926. She became Queen in 1952 after he father, George VI, died in 1952. She was only 25 years old at the time.

She is the Queen of 16 of 54 Commonwealth countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Santa Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saints Kitts and Nevis.
