So far, it has been visited by millions of tourists because it is easy to get there.

It is best known for the Moai Statues on the coast. 887 huge stone heads were built here. The questions of who these heads were, how and why they were built here might not be answered forever. Since 1995, the Easter Island has been added to UNESCO's World Heritage List but hasn’t been visited by many tourists because it’s too remote.

So far, it has been visited by very few tourists because it is too hard to get there.
