When the 120 met with the apostles in the upper room to appoint a twelfth apostle to take Judas’ place, it was on one of the ten days between the ascension and the Day of Pentecost.
Now it is on a later day, on the Pentecost Day, that the apostles were all together in one place and the Holy Spirit comes upon them. The text does not identify the place.

The Jews who accepted the gospel on this great day became the first fruits to God of His new Creation.
I’m sure this was another reason that this particular day was chosen by Jesus as the best day for His Kingdom to come.
The Jews were the first fruits of all Christians. But there is a sense in which all Christians are the first fruits to God of Mankind (James 1:18).

It was not actually a wind that made the sound. It was what we would today call a sound effect. But it got the attention of the crowds. They ran to the location where the sound seemed to be coming from.
There they saw the twelve apostles, who had been sitting and were now standing together.
