2. Once upon a time, there was a king who lived in a big castle. He had a daughter called Arabella. The king was very rich and gave his daughter presents every day.

3. The king was unhappy because his daughter would not eat any food.

4. He talked to the six best cooks in the land: ‘I want you to make your favourite food for my daughter and bring it here.’

5. On Monday, cook number one went to the castle. ‘This is my favourite food. You can buy it in McDonald’s.’ “Yuck! I don’t like hamburgers.

6. ‘Yuck! I don’t like chocolate ice cream.’ On Tuesday, cook number two went to the castle. ‘This is my favourite food. It’s very cold and sweet. It’s made of milk and chocolate.’

7. On Wednesday, cook number three went to the castle. Yuck! I don’t like noodles. This is my favourite food.

8. On Thursday, cook number four went to the castle. This is my favourite food. It’s not hot It’s cheese and tomato inside two pieces of bread.’ Yuck! I don’t like cheese sandwiches!

9. On Friday, cook number five went to the castle Yuck! I don’t like rice with pork. This is my favourite food. It’s rice with my favourite meat.’

10. Yuck! I don’t like fruit salad. This is my favourite food. On Saturday, cook number six went to the castle.

11. Can you help me? The king was very unhappy Arabella, what’s YOUR favourite food? ‘Have you got any…?’

12. Yes, that’s my favourite food too!’ Mmmmmm… delicious! Thank you. Thank you The king was very happy.
