SFRD aims at Rural Self-sufficiency to make villagers Financially secure, healthy, self-reliant, self-respecting and to make then competent enough to make effective use of their available local resources. MAIN AIMS AND OBJECTIVES Educating Farmers in the field of Modern and Scientific Farming Techniques Creating Farmers as Entrepreneurs and making them Self Sustainable. Promoting growth of Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry in association with various Farm Development Companies and Agencies. Providing fair price to Farmers, Growers and Manufacturers. Providing better Storage, preservation facilities for agricultural produce. Providing proper high quality seeds, fertilizers, medicines and other agricultural inputs. Providing Irrigational facilities and to develop water management programs. Making Farmers aware of various developmental plans, Schemes and programs lunched by the central and state government.

Providing facilities for Soil Tests and to promote the use of Bio- fertilizers. Training Farmers to take advantage of various Agro-Insurance and their Training Farmers for proper use of pesticides and medicines for cattle and birds To look after Rural Health, proper Foods and Nutrition for all. THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To appoint State Heads of State under his Region with the consent of Chairman & Vice-Chairman. Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman of SFRD. Monitoring Planning and controlling issues relating to Budgeting, sanction, deletion and cost estimation of Project proposals for States under his Region. To conduct high power committee meetings of State Heads under his Region. Reporting the day to day progress to the Chairman & V.C. REGIONAL HEADS

THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To appoint Cluster Heads and District Heads for Clusters and Districts of State assigned to him with the consent of Chairman & Vice-Chairman. Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman, Regional Head of SFRD. Monitoring Planning and controlling issues relating to Budgeting, sanction, deletion and cost estimation of Project proposals for State under his control. To conduct high power committee meetings of Cluster & District Heads. Reporting the day to day progress to the Regional Head & Chairman of SFRD. STATE HEADS

Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman, Regional Head, State Head of SFRD. Monitoring Planning and controlling issues relating to Budgeting, sanction, deletion and cost estimation of Project proposals for Cluster under his control. To conduct high power committee meetings of District Heads. Reporting the day to day progress to the State Head, Regional Head & the Chairman of SFRD. CLUSTER HEADS

Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman, Regional Head, State & Cluster Head of SFRD. Monitoring Planning and controlling issues relating to Budgeting, sanction, deletion and cost estimation of Project proposals for District under his control. To conduct high power committee meetings of Block Heads of his District.. Reporting the day to day progress to the Cluster Head, State Head, Regional Head & to the Chairman of SFRD. DISTRICT HEADS

Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman, Regional Head, State, Cluster and District Head. Monitoring Planning and controlling issues relating to Budgeting, sanction, deletion and cost estimation of Project proposals for Block under his control. To conduct high power committee meetings of Village Heads of his Blocks. Reporting the day to day progress to the District, Cluster Head, State Head, Regional Head & to the Chairman of SFRD. THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To motivate and enroll Farmers of the Village under him about various Programme, Schemes, Projects lunched by SFRD. It is also his responsibility to enroll maximum number of farmers in particulars and villagers in generals for membership of SFRD and to appraise them about the new development taking place in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry and other governmental initiatives and how to benefit from the entrepreneurship program launched by SFRD. Monitoring Targets and Programs and timely execution of Projects and Schemes assigned to him by the Chairman, Regional Head, State, Cluster, Disrict, Block Head.. Monitoring and controlling issues relating to Project proposals, meeting with villagers for Village under his control. To conduct meetings of Farmers/ SHG/JLG/Ward Members of his Village. Reporting the day to day progress to the Block, District, Cluster Head, State Head, Regional Head & to the Chairman of SFRD. VILLAGE HEADS
