Specifications Wood handle Metal head –Hoe blade on one side –Six rake tines on other side 45° Cutting edge Weight- 5 lbs. Length- 48”

Use Vegetation Fires –Scraping- scrape grass or vegetation to mineral soil. –Cutting- cut or clear light brush –Raking- rake tines can be used to remove debris Structure Fires –Can be used to move debris

Maintenance Handle –Inspect for cracks, splinters, straightness, etc. –Sand if necessary –Apply boiled linseed oil Head –Inspect head for cracks, burrs, chips, etc. –Inspect rake tines for cracks, chips, etc. –Sharpen at a 45 degree angle

Safety Maintain 10’ spacing Carry on downhill side Carry horizontally (parallel) to the ground When passing tool, pass handle first Ground tool with head flat on ground with handle upright Use gloves when sharpening
