Act 129 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Programs EE&C Programs offered by largest electric utilities in Pennsylvania Must meet incremental consumption and demand reduction targets – May 31, 2011 – Must reduce consumption by 1% of 2009-2010 forecast – May 31, 2013 – Must reduce consumption by 3% of 2009-2010 forecast – May 31, 2013 – Must reduce demand by 4.5% of 2007-2008 peak demand EE&C Programs - Future – Current programs end May 31, 2013 – Currently, the Commission proposed future consumption reduction targets for the utilities to meet by May 31, 2016 – The programs will still include proportionate numbers of measures for each rate class
