(potatoes, corn, peanuts, tomatoes, chocolate, peppers, squashes, and beans) Europeans probably made money selling goods Europeans (Columbus) brought cows, horses, pigs, wheat, barley, sugar. Harmful Effects Europeans cut down rain forests on the Carribbean islands to build sugar farms. Many plants and animals were destroyed. Many natives died because of the diseases the Europeans brought
