When to discard a synthetic webbing sling
label / tag has been destroyed or is not readable (legible) DO NOT USE IF: damage to sleeve. DO NOT USE IF: Nylon sling has come into contact with acid; polyester sling has come into contact with organic solvents such as paint, coal tar or paint stripper etc. A polypropylene sling has come into contact with alkaline.
