5 Limiting Scholarships? Guidelines set by the federal government, for all Title IV schools Title IV schools? Award federal aid, Pell Grant, FSEOG, Direct Loans. FAFSA determines Unmet need vs. Unmet Cost Scholarships vary, so limitations can vary based on types of aid Students can have too much money. Colleges may have to adjust aid not to excess COA. COA (varies) 11692 EFC (FAFSA no change) 3500 = Unmet Need 8192 Pell Grant 1500 = Unmet Need 6692 = Unmet Cost 10192 Hathaway 3200 = Unmet Need 3492 = Unmet Cost 6992 Limitations can vary based on types of aid the student is receiving. Federal aid, State Aid, External aid, and Institutional aid.
