OHKAY OWINGEH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MISSION & GOALS MISSION Identify, evaluate, and prioritize “Capital Projects” to be funded by an Ohkay Owingeh long term debt financing program and perform development tasks to get selected projects prepared for approval by Tribal Council. GOALS To Fill an Unmet Need Identify an overall strategic plan Identify new, unfinished, or unfunded projects Gather community input for projects of interest Evaluate and prioritize projects based on overall feasibility, economic, and community benefit Identify project financing options Present and obtain Tribal Council approval for projects identified Oversee and manage the development process
