26. A wiki can only be edited by one person at a time. STUDY ETIQUETTES RULES FOR BLOGS, WIKIS, & DISCUSSION BOARD: Use complete sentences in your postings and replies. You will not get credit for one word responses. Be sure to proofread and check grammar and spelling BEFORE you submit the posting. NEVER post anything that is personal about yourself or others. Be considerate and kind to classmates. Remember that ALL of your classmates and your TEACHER will read your responses. The postings are public like a newspaper. Make sure you are posting under the appropriate heading or thread.

Include an appropriate subject line on your thread and reply posts. The subject line should give the reader an idea of what the post is about. It is easy for messages to be misinterpreted since you are not able to see the person’s facial expressions or body language; therefore, choose your words carefully. Consider how you would feel. Remember to read what has previously been posted by others to avoid repeating comments. Be brief when posting. Since reading others’ comments can be very time consuming, try to be straight to the point. Cite your references/sources if you use quoted material in your post.
