Revelation 4:1-11 The Throne Room Part 1 2  Serves as a chronological indicator showing that John is now focusing on the future.  The heavenly Father (God) on the throne in chapter 4 is the one who hands the 7 sealed scroll over to the Son (God) in chapter 5.  Serves to demonstrate from where the wrath contained in the seven-sealed scroll comes.

Jasper stone = “watery crystalline” “diamond” (Rev. 21:11) Sardius = “fiery red” Genesis 9:16 When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.

Hebrews 8:4-5 Now if He were on earth, He would not be a priest at all, since there are those who offer the gifts according to the Law; 5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, just as Moses was warned by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, “SEE,” He says, “THAT YOU MAKE all things ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN WHICH WAS SHOWN YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN.”
