6  Contracts  Timeline (3 mo. Int’l.; 1 mo. Others)  If hasn’t done business w/SCSU, need to complete a W-9 & get vendor number.  Follow “Contract Information Sheet” & “Purchase Order Information Sheet” on website  2% tax on any non-resident entertainers

7 Special Fundraising Policies: 1. Sport clubs are under the jurisdiction of Campus Recreation. Any event involving a sport club using university recreational facilities must be coordinated through that department. 2. All residence hall-related activities must be coordinated through the Residential Life Department. 3. Human Auctions: Auctions which involve selling, bidding for, or in any way paying for person’s individual company or services are prohibited. 4. Drawings/Games of Chance/Raffles: Gambling for money or other things of value on campus or at University sponsored activities is prohibited except as permitted by law. 5. Food Sales: Any food-related sales anywhere on campus must be approved and coordinated through Sodexo Food  Atwood - Must use Sodexo  Other buildings – Sodexo has first right of refusal

9 To Login to CollegiateLink use HuskyNet ID and password If your organization has an e-mail address, use that to login If your organization does not have an e-mail address you can request one from the Helpdesk in Atwood If you need a password reset you can go onto the Huskynet website and ask for a reset  Advisers are the only ones allowed to do this Please pass on login information year to year to student leaders

11  Create Flyers posted to CollegiateLink homepage  Send individualized invitations  Power to RSVP  Possible attendance Figure out cost Food necessities Resources needed

12  Send messages to your membership  Communicate on wall  Link to Facebook, Twitter, Blogs  Go Green/Online Meeting Agendas  Use Forms app.

13  Computer counting  Unbiased party  Limit who votes  Prohibit non-organization members  Set up multiple elections at one time

14  Use as a recruitment tool for incoming students  Orientation  Advising Days (if applicable)  Mainstreet  Site setup by Mainstreet you can accept new members on day of Mainstreet Organization Fair

15  Please remember to register by deadlines because Atwood will release room reservations  Review guidebook for constitution updates  You will not receive confirmations on whether your organization is registered  Please check with the Student Organization office to ensure registration
