Questions: What work in the church has God entrusted you with? How faithful are you as a “steward of God”? as those “entrusted with God’s work” (vs. 7)

Leaders Embody Godliness (1:4-9) He must be blameless: Not Overbearing (not arrogant or insecure) Not Quick-tempered (not prideful) Not given to drunkenness (not addicted) Not violent (not a bully) Not pursuing dishonest gain (not greedy for money) As “stewards of God” (vs. 7)

Rather, he must be (vs. 8) Hospitable Lover of good (healthy desires) Upright (pure conduct) Holy (cleansed heart) Disciplined –(self-controlled & purposeful) Leaders Embody Godliness (1:4-9) Question: How can you grow as a “lover of strangers”? (lover of strangers)
