Company Profile and Objectives
Emirates Water Technology Co. was established on October 2002 to deal mainly with all kinds of solutions related to the environment and to meet the needs within the Middle East and Gulf Region. EWT OBJECTIVE: To provide a feasible solution to the treatment of water and purification solutions and treatment of wastewater in scattered location not connected to public drainage network such as isolated properties, settlements, resorts, small villages and hotels. To provide safe, clean, and good financial investment water and wastewater treatment processes for collection, treatment and discharge or reuse of treated water and wastewater for customer and environmental satisfaction. EWT involved in the design and construction of an appropriate sewage treatment plant, which can attain effluent standards, set by the appropriate regulating body. EWT provides all kinds of technical and administrative support, design, and specifications for customer project free of charge to help in sorting the requirements and providing the right solutions.

Company Profile and Objectives
Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant EWT has combined expertise in the GRP tanks fabrication and a recognized wastewater treatment technology to construct its modular biological sewage treatment plant (STP) which meets the demand of the smaller to medium sized decentralized sewage treatment applications. Also, EWT may work out concrete or steel tanking for the waste water treatment system design to meet the end user spaces and site conditions. Water Purification and Treatment System EWT has joined efforts with a Greek company M/s TEMAK to offer to its clients the best and efficient water product they may need in their water use in many fields, such as: Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Hemodialysis Reverse Osmosis Industrial Reverse Osmosis Cosmetics Reverse Osmosis Hotels and Resorts Reverse Osmosis Restaurants and Food Processing Reverse Osmosis Medical Reverse Osmosis (Hospitals, Laboratories and clinics) Agriculture Reverse Osmosis

Technical Discussion for WWTP Flow Scheme
The Pre-treatment phase (gravitation separation): a-The first chamber holds back the rough floating and sinking substances. b- The second chamber is an extended settling phase for finer substances. c- The Third chamber serves as a continued pre-treatment process. (Reduction of BOD5 to almost 70%) The Biological Purification phase (Primary Treatment): The aim of this biological purification phase is the breaking-down of the organic substances dissolved in the wastewater and with that reduction of the entry of nutritive substances in the natural water. An extended 24 hours diffused aeration provides the required oxygen demands for the aerobic microorganisms to grow on the installed filters called Bio-bloks and start degradation. The required air-oxygen will be brought in from the ceramic tube diffusers finely blistered by means of working and standby blowers, and the air oxygen goes up to a desirable overthrow of the basin content. The microorganisms grow with the consumption of nutritive substances activated by dissolved oxygen to form an adequate media for biological purification. The Post-Treatment phase (Secondary treatment): The water leaves the biological purification phase into the secondary treatment chamber called the Post-Clarifier Tank. This phase serves for the separation of the biologically cleaned water from the surplus biomass. The Post-Clarifier Tank has a funnel-shape at its base so that the surplus biomass (sludge) settles there and than carried out periodically to the first chamber of the Gravitation Separation by means of submersible pump where the sludge is stored until its removal (1 to 12 times per year). Disinfection phase (Tertiary Treatment): The biological-treated water leaves by gravity the Post-Clarifier tank into a chamber (manhole) equipped with a Chlorine Disinfection System or UV station prior to entering the Effluent Storage Tank.

A Filter Media For Wastewater Treatment Of Unique Quality
BIO-BLOK®, developed by EXPO-NET Denmark A/S, is a well-tested product that has proved to be very efficient in the bacteriological treatment of domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. Submerged, Aerated Filters The amount of microorganisms decides the removal rate in treatment plants. An increase of microorganisms can be achieved by installing BIO-BLOK®. By applying the BIO-BLOK® products, a large surface will be established on which the microorganisms fix. Thus the amount of microorganisms in the treatment plants increases, hence removal rates and plant capacity increase significantly. The oxygen in the air is absorbed in the water and into the biofilm. The dissolved organic material in the wastewater diffuses into the biofilm. This biofilm consists of microorganisms that degrade the wastewater into CO2 and water, and at the same time, new cells develop. Biological Growth on the Filter Example of biological growth on BIO-BLOK® 100 with rough surface.
