6. Do not hold the medium in your hand like a pencil
Do not hold the medium in your hand like a pencil. Grasp it where you can hold your wrist and hand still. Allow the movement of your body or vehicle to create the line. Do not force the line to happen let the movement of your body move the drawing instrument not your hand. You are recording movement.

7. After you have completed your 10 drawings, pick your best 5 and crop to make interesting compositions.

8. Your pictures cropped will be 7x10

9. Example: place your sketchbook in your lap as you ride the bus or metro link. Do not hold the writing instrument like a pencil! Watch lines form as your body sways with the curves of the road and the bumps of the asphalt.
