Page numbers Outline in context of number of slides When you have it down, time yourself. Stop and say, “SO WHAT” to yourself. Does it need to be said? Be careful of the “You know’s”, “Okay’s”, “Um’s”, “Ahh’s” etc. What is the take-home message? 38 Presentations that Present the Preeminent Presence

Do not jump back and forth thru slides……… Always look at your audience. Do not turn your back but for a moment. Use front screen or teleprompter type Do not use acronyms unless absolutely necessary, but if you do elaborate on them. Do not use words like, “Briefly, real quick”, or such…….tells the audience this really isn’t that important 39 Presentations that Present the Preeminent Presence

If you use a laser pointer……….do not point at words only items, and do not wave it around Finish on time……..or early.
