C ONSIDERATIONS With all operations Track time always paramount Precast bearing block section in lieu of CIP 2 half spans for each track rather than one big Through girder with a common center girder out-to-out length of the new span - 32-feet 6-inches Each segment about 15 tons common girder span the lifting weight - 80 tons 4 pieces - increased tolerance in setting the spans able to run trains while working on the adjacent track
