1 RECOMMENDATIONS SUMMARY At this time, all diagnostic call types felt to be EQUITABLE (not necessarily perfectly equal). Maintain current weekend responsibility distribution. Continue to encourage inter radiologist contact, communication and assistance. Encourage call preference requests to DWL. Encourage internal moonlighting options and monitor their popularity. ASSESS FEASIBILITY OF FINAL READS BY US TELE. IF POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL MODALITY RE ALLOCATION PRUDENT. Although volumes listed as 3 rd most bothersome aspect of call, best objective indicator of call difficulty and heavily impacts frequency and length of call. Continue to monitor volumes and trends rather than short bursts of activity or inactivity. Communication, communication, communication needs to be improved. In particular PROPER AND WIDESPREAD use of big ant needs improvement as our interface of choice. Also need improved phone lists. Continue PRS refinements which are being steadily implemented and communicated to whole practice as PRS tips.

2 RECOMMENDATIONS SUMMARY CONTD. HOUSE KEEPING Continue current policy of week night office cases going to PHX RAD and Saturday office cases going to MR/CT RAD. Weeknight coverage: 1.CCH rad encouraged to open filter to include inpt/stat MRI (or conversely to cc er studies) in effort to assist PM reader who sometimes is tied up reading involved or lengthy mr studies. 2.Both CCH & PHX rads encouraged to open stat filters to include each other. 3.All inpatient CT & MR cases should be read. EQUITABLE CASE TRADING MUST HAPPEN ALWAYS. DO NOT USE TECHS FOR INTER RADIOLOGIST COMMUNICATION. On weekends, MR/CT reader should read CCH us tele overnight US in addition to CT cases. Non stat Sunday CCH MRI cases may judiciously be left for Monday per mr/ct rad judgment as circumstances dictate. Not considered ideal!! Leftover Friday CT and MR should not be ignored.

3 ITEMS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION  Shift allocation within weekend probably best way to decrease length of weekend call. Although having some appealing features not felt to be feasible at this time. Should be restudied.  Continue to monitor weekend call volumes.  Re-Survey practice.
