8. The 2014 US Academic Decathlon America’s #1 Academic Competition Students of all Grade Point Averages are welcome! The 2013 Hoover High Academic Decathlon Team. Top 10 finishers in San Diego County.

9. Grace represented Hoover at the CIF State Track Meet with class and dignity with a throw of just over 43 feet. Grace finished 7th. Out of all the high school girls in the entire state of California who competed in the shot put, Grace is the 7th best. Quite the accomplishment!
