Valleys By Benjamin Parker Biazo

How is a valley formed? Most valleys are formed by erosion. Rain runs down hills and make rivers. Rivers cut V-shaped valleys in the land. Glaciers make U-shaped valleys. Glaciers erode both the sides and the bottom of an area to form a valley. Earth’s movements also form valleys. This is a slow-land change.

Interesting facts One fact is when plates pull apart, they drop into magma. Another fact is that if a river is flowing very fast on a mountain it can create erosion quickly. Another fact is water froze in the north and south pole which allowed the mountains that were underwater to rise above the ice. That caused erosion to happen.
