Part Two - Jonah 2:1-10 Psalm of Jonah Jonah’s Prayer Jonah 2:1-3 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the L ORD his God. He said: ‘In my distress I called to the L ORD, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry. You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me. “I called on the Lord, and He answered me.” God still showed mercy to Jonah Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Part Two - Jonah 2:1-10Jonah’s Prayer Jonah 2:3-6 You hurled me into the depths into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me. I said, “I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again towards your holy temple.” The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head. To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. Don’t neglect and don’t overlook the little things God uses phases Now Jonah’s in a fish

Part Two - Jonah 2:1-10Jonah’s Prayer Jonah 2:9-10 “But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, Salvation comes from the L ORD. And the L ORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.” “What I have vowed I will make good…” “I can’t contribute anything; therefore salvation comes from the Lord.” Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
