3 Objectives Vigorous programme to promote professionalism worldwide to: oimprove the ability of business to exploit IT effectively and consistently obuild IT professionalism to world standards odevelop a profession which is respected and valued Ensure the voice of the IT practitioner is clearly and powerfully expressed Opportunity for IFIP to raise substantially its global profile and represent IT practitioners internationally
