Preproduction!! l Organize! l Work together - everyone has good ideas! Listen to everyone in your group! l Everyone contributes and participates as part of the team!

Select a Topic! l For Final Project Connect idea to curriculum: What will students learn and be able to demonstrate as a result of doing this? What content standards are being addressed at your grade level? What technology standards are being addressed at your grade level? Begin work on your project planning sheet!

Select Project Format l camcorder iMovie or other Which format works better for you and the message that is being communicated? or

Write the Script l You might want to ‘rough out’ the script first (scratch paper) l When ready, transfer to scripting sheets (M. p.63-66) What will we see? (left column) What will we hear? (right column)

Project Checklist… l Length of video - 2 minutes l Follow copyright guidelines in terms of portion limits l Locate and reserve equipment you need. l Use video production techniques where appropriate - (Note: must use one as part of project minimums)
