La Academia: Última Generación de México (La Academia: The Final Generation from Mexico) The reunion of top La Academia stars Azteca América proudly brings back the most exciting reality show on Spanish-language TV. In this sixth generation, the last to be produced in Mexico, thousands of young, hopeful singers from across the U.S., Mexico and Latin America, will audition for a chance to compete in the all-new La Academia: Última Generación de México! As part of this property, there will be four separate programs: Azteca Music: La Academia Special, El Recreo, Camino a la Fama and the Sunday evening La Academia concerts. First, Azteca Music will feature a special hosted by former La Academians, Cynthia and Erasmo. This special will recap the U.S. auditions held in Los Angeles and other affiliated cities– featuring clips of the best of La Academia with live performances from the most successful graduates. Then, Monday through Friday, there will be two shows daily: El Recreo, an inside look at the intense singing and dance lessons as contestants try to win the praise and attention of their master teachers. In the primetime show, Camino a la Fama, hidden cameras follow the personal stories that unfold in the “Academia House.” Flirtations, love triangles, and back-stabbing give this primetime show enough heat to keep audiences glued to the screen! ~continued~
