BY THIS TIME TOMORROW 15 people in America who are alive right now will be dead. Not because they were in a car accident, Not because they were gunned down, Not because their time had come, not even because they weren’t in the hospital, but simply because they couldn’t obtain a transplant in time. 15 people will die because the organ transplant they need will not be possible. ORGAN DONATION Description of the necessity of organs.
Kind of organs can be transplanted. How you can become an organ donor. Finally, I am hoping to leave you today with a new desire to be an organ donor, and at last a life saver.

ORGAN TRANSPLANTATION
Organ transplantation is one of the greatest achievements of modern surgery. It is not longer an experiment. 21,000 transplants /year (UNOS). 96,000 waiting.

BIG PROBLEM The lack of available organs is still a problem of the field of organ transplantation surgery. In order to continue organ transplant surgery, organ donations must become more available.

AVAILABLE ORGAN Clinics consider blood type, body size, medical urgency, time waiting, and geographical proximity as the criteria for distribution. Factors such as race, gender, age, income, or celebrity status are never considered. Organ allocation.

BRENT’S STORY (Donor) Brent Adams died on April 13, 1998 due to a car accident. He was such a fighter and loved life. Brent’s organs helped five people.

TONG’S STORY (Recipient)
Tong had a serious congenital heart disease. She got a heart in Oct, 2000. She is totally different after her transplant. Her lips, fingers and toes are pink.
