7. II.What They Could Be  The Gospels end hopeful but tentative. The disciples weren’t there yet.  They had been given much training, and there was incredible potential.

8. III.What They Became INPUT: What happened after Pentecost?  Acts 1, They were able to function as a unified group without Jesus’ physical presence!  Acts 2, They took Jesus’ message of the Gospel to the people of the nations.  Acts 5:40, They were persecuted yet remained faithful.

10. INPUT: Who needs to hear the message of the Gospel?  1 Corinthians 15:3, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.  Romans 3:23-24, Jesus redeemed condemned sinners, for God’s glory.  Titus 3:3-8, When we were sinners, God saved us through Jesus, that we might live.
