25 RequirementDescription Educational LevelSecondary degree (high school or equivalent) or higher General PM Experience 2,000 hours working on project teams. These hours must be earned within the last 5 years. Note: a PMP will be accepted to fulfill these requirements. Agile PM Experience 1,500 hours working on Agile project teams or in Agile methodologies. These hours are in addition to the 2,000 hours required in general project management experience. These hours must be earned within the last 2 years. Agile PM Training 21 contact hours; hours must be earned in Agile project management topics Examination Tests knowledge of Agile fundamentals and ability to apply to basic projects Maintenance 30 PDUs/3 CEUs every 3 years in Agile project management Note: hours would count toward PMP PMI-ACP SM – Eligibility Requirements 34

35 PMI-ACP SM Update Reaction from organizations has been robust Over a dozen large organizations requested 1-on-1 presentations on the certification Mature organizations find good ‘fit’ with the methodology neutral approach of certification and internal methodologies Demand for Agile driven by clients requesting their projects be managed using Agile H.R. 2647 Section 804 also driving demand Mandates some DoD IT acquisitions be designed and executed using Agile

36 PMI-ACP SM Update REP Community has grown from this product 13 new REPs who are existing training organizations in the Agile space have become REPs Additional REP applications in progress from like organizations

37 PMI-ACP SM Update Reaction to the exam – largely positive Sally Elatta, Agile Transformation Coach First, my overall feedback is that the exam was pretty good, especially being this is the pilot and there will be updates and improvements based on our Agile value of inspecting and adapting Bryan Campbell, Senior Program Manager In general, I found the actual exam questions well written and a good overview of agile knowledge.
