Rationale In our learning and teaching we all plan the key questions that will either help the learning or to demonstrate progress At opportune times we ask the questions – why plan them if we did not ask them? HOWEVER …. at some stage we are all GUILTY ….. guilty as charged!

3. Guilty of what? Tweak of the Week Q.T.A!  Of rushing the students to give the answer …..  Of not allowing them enough time to think …..  Of you doing the work …. worrying that they don’t get it or won’t get it!  Of allowing them to become ‘social loafers’ …. (psychological term if you did not know!) – lazy …..

Tweak of the Week Q.T.A!  QUESTION - Plan your questions as always ……. …… but also plan the time to think of the answer  TIME - during the lesson ….. ask the question ….. …… but provide the time frame o think ….. …… have the confidence to wait …. bite your lip......  ANSWER..… then target the students for the answer …..
