HABITAT The Kaiser newt is found in a small area in Iran Lives in streams, Ponds and pooles

DESCRIPTION The Kaiser Newt has a long narrow yellow or orange – red stripe with white spots on black background. Up to 4 in long. Feed on small invertebrates in wild In zoo they fed on small Crickets, fruit flies and black worms

FOOD It eats small invert abates in the wild. In the zoos they eat small crickets, fruit flies, and black worms.

YOUNG(OFFSPRING) They lay eggs in streams The larva have long tails. Spends first part of life in water.

PREDATORS Humans because of its bright colors collectors want them.

OTHER INTERESTING FACTS The kaiser spoted newt is also known as the luiristan newt or emperor newt can live up to 6 to 8 years.
