Endeca Information Discovery: Cool Stuff/Lessons Learned Mashing up structured and unstructured data is easy and uncovers new insights Creating geospatial heat maps and using unstructured data are user friendly and truly self service A few “gotchas” to be aware of Once you have loaded data using the data integrator you have to continue using it, and cannot just mash up a spreadsheet Geospatial is “cool” but it only maps points on a map, and will not connect the points to draw lines (requires customization) Migrating applications is not a simply import/export process. Only the pages are included in exports, and not the data
