Cosmetology Application Required (TDLR) Two year sequence of courses Cosmetology I fundamentals of cosmetology including, chemical reformation and related theory, artistry of hair, and manicures, + 500 hours Cosmetology II advanced hair design, principles and applications of hair coloring techniques, advanced haircutting and related theory, +1000 hours Gain real world experience by practicing skills on clients Certification available upon passing exam: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation state exam + 1,000 clock hours completed before 5-25 of Senior year
