2 Task 3: Do you notice any links between the mass of an object and it’s weight? Task 4: To calculate the weight of each object you need to use the following equation: weight (N) = mass (kg) x gravitational field strength (N/kg) Gravitational field strength on earth is 10N/Kg. Therefore to calculate the weight of an object, you multiply the mass by 10. Calculate the weight of the mass of your objects. ObjectMass in ( kg ) x 10 N/kgWeight in ( N )

3 Task 5: Now calculate the weight of a 2kg bag of sugar on these different planets. 4 Task 7: Below you will see a diagram of the planets showing their comparable sizes. Do you think the size of the planet affect the weight of objects on it? Task 6: Look at your calculations. On which planet would your object seem the heaviest and where would it seem the lightest? Do any of the results surprise you?

5 Task 8: Knowing what you now know about the weight of objects on different planets, which planet would you prefer to live on and why? What problems might you face and why? (At least 5 sentences!!!)
