Packing Since we will be unable to drive through the museum, we will be required to walk. Bring comfortable shoes! Do Not OVERPACK! You will be carrying your own luggage.

Laundry (U.S. Trip Only) Laundry facilities will be available at some the hotels. We are working with local laundromats so that a bulk of the clothing can be done on Saturday May 23 rd. Please be sure that your full name is labeled on all clothing

Medical and Liability Please be sure that all Travel Permission forms are turned in by April 17 th. Let your campus administrators know of any medical conditions that we need to be aware of so that we can accommodate you child appropriately All Medicine must be given to the Administrator from their campus

Safety and Guidelines There will be one chaperone for every 8 kids in their group. Each group will be divided into two teams of four students. Students must be with Chaperones at all times during the day and at night there will always be at least one adult awake and on duty at each hotel. Each Chaperone will have a roster of their kids in their group to include parent contact information. Chaperones will have a cell phone list to call if help is needed. Day of the Trip Bring a sack lunch to eat on the first day Remember all medicine is to be given to the Campus Administrator Bring one suitcase and a backpack or daypack for the bus. The bus has Wi-Fi (Is limited) Bus has outlets to charge devices but be sure to charge everything prior to the trip.

Student Responsibilities and Safety Stay with your assigned chaperone at all time. Please be alert and attentive to your chaperone. Pick up trash and leave every site better than you saw it. Be respectful at night to the hotel staff and keep all noises to a minimum. Follow the ILTexas code of conduct at all times. You are responsible for all personal belongings on this trip. Please keep all of your money in a secure spot, we will not be holding it for you. Students will not enter the rooms assigned to members of the opposite sex. Students and parents are responsible for any damages on the trip. Students will always be in pairs, never individual. Students who fail to follow ILTexas expectations will be returned home at the sole discretion of Mr. Conger.

Chaperone Duties Each Chaperone will be assigned 8 students that they will be supervising Those 8 students will be broken into two groups of 4 when they get to the hotel, thus the chaperone will need to monitor two hotel rooms. 4 chaperones will be designated a lead teacher. If there are any problems or questions along the trip be sure to contact your designated teacher that will be assigned to you prior to the trip. Everyone will be riding with their groups in the bus, but we will have two suburban's in case of any emergencies involving students or chaperones. Will be provided a roster before the trip with the contact info of all your students, your lead teacher, and the administrative staff along the trip. Roster will also include any medication or allergies of the students. Chaperone Duties Chaperones will be in charge of their designated group at all times. Every child in your group must be within your immediate supervision and accounted for at all times. Chaperones are responsible for the well being and safety of all students, at all times. Each chaperone is required to be part of watch duty during nights. Be sure to inspect the groups area after leaving any dining areas or the bus to insure that all trash has been disposed of. Monitor hotel rooms/cabins for cleanliness. Be sure to have your groups ready to unload and load the bus at each location and designated times. Please let ILTexas staff know of any behavioral issues within your group.
