BE RESPECTFUL
3
DON’T DISTURB OTHER CLASSES! Use Voice Level 0 in the halls Do not walk or play between the buildings during recess or lunch. When you see someone you know, give them a quiet wave.
4
AT THE START OF THE DAY, BE IN CLASS BEFORE THE BELL RINGS! Definition: in your seat working or ready to work. If you are walking / running in when the bell rings, you will be counted as tardy YOU should unpack your backpack when you get to class – not your mom or dad.
5
BE SAFE WHEN WALKING TO AND FROM RECESS and LUNCH Walk in a single-file line. If you have a soccer ball or basketball – do not bounce it in the halls. Your teacher should bring you to and from recess and lunch. You have a designated spot on the playground to wait for your teacher. Stay there and wait patiently.
6
BE RESPONSIBLE – WALK WITH A PURPOSE! Get to class on time so you are ready to focus on your school work. Do not stop along the way to your destination. The benches are for sitting – do not walk across them.
7
WALK AT ALL TIMES – LOOKING FORWARD! Look forward when you are walking, do not walk backwards or looking down. Running can lead to injury, ALWAYS walk. Encourage friends to get to class on time.
8
KEEP HANDS FEET AND OBJECTS TO SELF! Ask permission before taking other’s belongings (including recess equipment) Respect everyone’s personal space – keep your hands off your friends in line. Keep your books and backpacks close to your body so they will not injure others. Do not ride on your rolling backpacks.
