Punishment vs Logical Consequences Logical consequences are supposed to be geared to preserving the “social order” so that children learn to respect the established rules (Kohn, 41) Teacher is the representative of the social order and imposes a consequence for failing to respect the established rule Kohn suggests that from a students perspective they are not that different Temporary fix
