Class Rules Respect yourself. Work hard and take advantage of this learning opportunity Respect your fellow students. Don’t get in the way of other’s learning with disruptions, etc. Respect your teacher. Do not behave in a way that prevents Mrs. Stuart’s instruction to everyone. Respect the room and the items within. Do not harm the classroom or the items within.

Supplies SPIRAL (Needs pockets OR a separate folder) READY TO TAKE NOTES AT ALL TIMES Pen Pencil 1 roll paper towels 1 box tissues

Makeup Work The day you return from an absence (excused or unexcused): Look in the ESS spiral for instructions and any papers you need will be in file folder. ALL work must be completed two calendar days from the day you returned to my class (for each day absent). It is YOUR responsibility to get your makeup work. I will not remind you!!!

Assessments (Test) Any test score below a 70% may be made up. I will announce the test makeup days in advance of the makeup. Retakes Only assessments (tests) will be retakes. Labs, daily grades and quizzes are one- time grades.

Tardies When the bell rings, I will lock my door. You must go to the office to get a pass. Cell Phones NO PHONES BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:30-3:30. IF I SEE IT---IT IS MINE. IF I HEAR IT……IT IS MINE. TURN OFF THE VOLUME. PUT IT IN BACKPACK/PURSE/POCKET. ($15 IN THE OFFICE TO GET IT BACK)

Food/Drink NO FOOD in my class. I will throw it away!! You may have a drink in my class if you have a water bottle (or coke, PowerAde) WITH A SCREW-TOP LID. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINK CUPS FROM ANY RESTAURANT. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LEFT OVER FROM LUNCH THAT YOU DIDN’T GET TO EAT. THIS IS NOT A CAFETERIA.

Dress Code I have a dress code that I must follow……so do you!!!! NO HATS NO EARRINGS ON BOYS (NO GAGES AT ALL) NO NOSE/EYEBROW/LIP/TOUNGE PEIRCINGS NO SHORT SKIRTS/SHORTS (NO RUNNING SHORTS) NO HOLE IN PANTS NO SEE THROUGH TOPS OR UNDERGARMENTS SHOWING NO PAJAMAS
