3 Metaphor  A metaphor states that one thing is something else. It is a comparison, but it does NOT use like or as to make the comparison. (describing)  Her hair is silk.  Compared?  Meaning?

4 Simile or Metaphor???? 1.On a piece of paper, write what each comparison is – simile or metaphor. 2.Write down what is being compared. 3.Think about what is meaning/description is.
